I chose this quote because its from a beautiful song and I can relate to the meaning behind it. The song is about growing up with parents constantly fighting, and never seeing their apparent love. My parents were always fighting and thats what I grew up seeing. I never experienced a stereotypical family relationship. I hope one day I will have a family, and I would never do the same to my children. Going through that myself has strengthened my values, and I am set on not becoming my parents.

You are probably baffled at the title of this post, and wondering what the heck that means? Well, lucky you! Now you get to find out! It is greek for “Aim High”, the open motto for the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority. This past week, I have became one of the newest members of the sorority. I love the motto and everything it stands for. It encourages young women to go for their dreams and goals, no matter how crazy they are. I have found a place where I belong in Phi Sigma Sigma. These girls are like my family away from home, and help me in going after my dreams. I think it really represents the sorority and what they are all about.
